In grateful appreciation of Hazel Joske
3I wonder if Hazel Joske is aware the fact that her services to chess in 1979 are now being re-appreciated thanks to a second-hand book dealer who came across this inscription:
I’d be very interested to hear from anyone who knows any of the names or can tell a bit of a story about this book.
The book is a copy of The Golden Dozen, by Chernev. If you’re interested in buying the book you can contact Bower Bird Books & Things on 02 6959 2770 or branding963@hotmail.com.au
They are asking $100 for the book, but I’m sure they’d be happy to haggle!
